Stud Welding Ferrules

Ceramic ferrules are developed for stud weld application. These are made suitable to stud sizes M 6, M 8, M 10, M 12, M 16 & M 20, in plain hole as also stepped hole patterns. Other patterns & sizes can be developed as per customer’s requirement.

Stud welding uses a type of insulator called a ferrule, a ceramic ring which concentrates the heat generated, prevents oxidation and retains the molten metal in the weld zone. The ferrule is broken off of the fastener after the weld is completed.
